I had the opportunity to photograph an evening organized by Abbe Photo, a French non-profit dedicated to preserving the photographic legacy of André Abbe. The event offered a quiet moment of reflection on his body of work and its role in documenting the cultural rhythms and rural traditions of Provence.
Set against the backdrop of the region he spent decades photographing, the gathering invited conversation around memory, preservation, and the power of visual storytelling rooted in place.
