I've spent more time in Joshua Tree National Park...

Than any other National Park or reserve in the world. I used to go every day, for a while. It actually, at times, made it more difficult to photographically capture the park. Something happens to the way we see things when we become habituated to them. Even when viewing Joshua Tree through novel eyes, I always found it difficult to photographically translate the beauty of the landscape. It's so otherworldly, I find it challenging. It's for these reasons that I've made it such a focus of my photography.

KEYS View

A place I photograph so much, it needs its own category. This is the primary vista point of Joshua Tree National Park, and when you live nearby, whenever you see a particularly dynamic or exciting sunset or weather pattern, you head over to Keys View to check it out. Here are the results of that.

Surrounding Areas

To include the areas of Twentynine Palms, Yucca Valley, Landers, and the town of Joshua Tree.
