It's been a wild ride...

San Francisco has been amazing. It's been an incredible experience, two months of photography, healing, emotional growth, and figuring out what comes next. There is something very amniotic about the city of San Francisco. Despite being such a large and busy city, it feels tight and enclosed, by both climate, geography, and topography. It's a wonderful place to practice street photography. It's easy to navigate, it's incredibly dynamic, and there is no shortage of natural and architectural beauty around the city. But, my time here is coming to an end.

I'm not done with France...

One of the questions people keep asking me is if I am done with France, if I will be coming back. The answer is: I'll never be done with France. My plan is and remains to live permanently in France. It's difficult to explain how passionate I am about France, and the French culture and people. It's a place that has forever captured my soul and imagination. It's my home.

With that said, my priority right now is refining and honing my artistic voice and vision. The best pathway toward that end requires that I stay in the United States for the next couple of years. It's going to take an enormous amount of effort, but the next two years are going to mark the inflection point of my journey as an artist. More on that later.

Goodbye, San Francisco. Hello, to the next place life takes me...

It's been wonderful, San Francisco. You've helped heal me, shown me an amazing time, and given me many wonderful photographic opportunities. You've helped me grow and become whole again after significant trauma. Here are my final works of street photography from the city.
